The designer and her label:

Barbara Speer founded the label that carries her name in 1982 and has continuously provided fashion for women up to size 28 since. Hand-knitted pieces and sweaters were the starting point of her collection, and the label sells these hand-knitted pieces up until today. Since its founding, the label’s collections have been sold almost exclusively through the Imotex Center in Neuss, Germany. From 1995 onwards, new pieces have been presented almost weekly at the Fashion-Business-Center Euromoda in Neuss, where the label’s headquarters and encompassing showroom are located. The comprehensive range includes sweaters, jackets, tops, trousers and many closet essentials more. Great attention is put to where the clothes are produced -- only select Turkish manufacturers craft the unique pieces. Barbara Speer’s innovative designs hit the style notes of national and international customers alike, her quality pieces are favourites of the consumer-conscious fashion crowd all over the world.
